Ariana Grande Shares Photos Kissing Ricky Alvarez on Instagram

Ariana Grande offered fans a look at her romance with Ricky Alvarez on Instagram, sharing photos of the couple embracing and kissing just hours after they were seen supporting runners during the New York City Marathon.

Instagram Post and Marathon Appearance

The social media post arrives during a planned break from the spotlight for Grande following the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine Tour in September. The Instagram carousel begins with Alvarez embracing the singer, followed by a second photo of the two kissing. Hours before the photos went public, spectators spotted the couple supporting runners during the New York City Marathon. Grande and Alvarez previously dated from 2015 to 2016 and sparked new relationship rumors when they were linked again in July.

Upcoming Press Tour for Focker-in-Law

Grande’s public hiatus ends this week as she begins promoting her upcoming film, Focker-in-Law, which arrives in theaters on November 25. Her promotional schedule includes an appearance on The Tonight Show alongside co-stars Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller. Following the end of her tour on September 1, a source told People that Grande remained committed to supporting the movie and her ongoing brand work during her break. Alongside the photos with Alvarez, Grande used her Instagram Story to share voting information from her Brighter Days Ahead Foundation ahead of the midterm elections.

Tour Break and Fan Reassurance

In August, Grande addressed her concertgoers in Chicago regarding her decision to step back from touring. She told the crowd that the hiatus was a plan she made quietly and thoughtfully. Addressing fan concerns that negativity had affected her experience, Grande stated that the break did not stem from outside pressure. “Human beings can need a break sometimes,” she told fans during the Chicago performance, emphasizing that her time on tour remained the greatest experience of her professional life.
