Armed Police Respond to Incident in Ōtaki Beach, Kāpiti Coast

Armed police responded to an incident in Ōtaki Beach on the Kāpiti Coast on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, leading to the arrest of one person. Negotiators were involved before the individual was taken into custody.
