HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Resurfacing operate on Patton Road near Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 10 is currently impacting traffic flow, potentially causing delays for those accessing or leaving the installation. The project, which began on March 12, is expected to last approximately three weeks.
Lane Closures and Traffic Control
One inbound lane and one outbound lane on Patton Road are closed to traffic between the Martin Road/Patton Road overpass and Gate 10. Traffic control measures, including signs, flaggers, and cones, are in place to guide drivers through the construction zone. Drivers should expect uneven surfaces and loose gravel in the area according to Redstone Arsenal officials.

- Gate 1: Open Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. (Truck Lane open 5:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday-Friday)
- Gate 3: Open Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Inbound & Outbound) and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. (Outbound only)
- Gate 8: Closed July 17-21 for improvements; use Gate 10
- Gate 10: Open Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
