Aston Martin has expanded its DBX SUV lineup with the new DBX GT, shifting the British brand’s premier high-riding vehicle away from track-focused aggression and toward long-distance luxury. Priced from approximately £207,000 (roughly 5.9 million Czech crowns), the luxury grand tourer begins deliveries before the end of the year following an early order period reported by Autocar.
Interior Refinements and Passenger Comfort
Aston Martin integrated an extra layer of memory foam into the newly styled seats, accentuating the upholstery with decorative perforations and custom stitching. Rear passengers sit on a pair of distinct bucket-style comfort seats separated by a narrow center position configured for occasional use. Buyers can select from single-tone, dual-tone, or tri-tone leather configurations matched with metallic trim accents and a standard panoramic glass roof.
Engine Performance and Revised Chassis Tuning
Beneath the hood sits a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with the sport-oriented DBX S, outputting 717 horsepower through a nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain drives the luxury model from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 310 km/h. To match the grand touring brief, engineers softened the suspension calibration to absorb everyday road imperfections more effectively, recalibrated the throttle response, and quieted the exhaust system during normal driving modes. Cabin insulation has also been thickened to minimize road noise.
Exterior Styling and Wheel Configurations
Aesthetically, the DBX GT distinguishes itself from sportier stablemates through subtle opulence rather than aerodynamic aggression. The front end adopts a unique dual-tone grille featuring a revised mesh pattern, complemented by new metal fender trim and a body-colored rear diffuser. The vehicle rolls on 22-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires, framed by four polished exhaust finishers exiting the rear fascia.
