Kuhnemann in Line for World Cup Debut in Australia’s Squad

Matthew kuhnemann is poised to make his World Cup debut.He’s the biggest surprise inclusion in Australia’s squad for the T20 World Cup.

As expected, Australia has named star pacemen Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood. They’ve also included explosive batter Tim David, despite recent injury concerns.

Mitch Owen, who starred in last summer’s BBL final, didn’t make the cut. Sean Abbott, now fit again, and backup wicketkeeper Josh Philippe were also left out.

Philippe’s omission means Josh Inglis is the sole specialist wicketkeeper in the squad. The tournament will be played in India and Sri lanka in February.
