In addition to critical acclaim, the winner of Austras balva 2026 received a €1,000 career development scholarship provided by the Latvian Performers’ and Producers’ Association (LaIPA), as reported by LSM. The ceremony also revealed the recipient of the public vote prize organized by the news portal Delfi, offering audiences a direct voice in the proceedings.

Past winners of the prize include solo artists Alise Joste and ansis, alongside groups such as Rīgas Modes, Satellites LV, Polifauna, Tribes of the City, kuba, and Alejas, according to LSM.
