AWS Expands Generative AI Capabilities with Nemotron 3, Nova Forge SDK and Corretto 26

Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to bolster its generative AI offerings, with recent updates including the availability of NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3 Super on Amazon Bedrock, the launch of the Nova Forge SDK for customizing Amazon Nova models, and the general availability of Amazon Corretto 26. These announcements, highlighted in the latest AWS Weekly Roundup by Senior Specialist Solutions Architect Daniel Abib, signal AWS’s commitment to providing developers and enterprises with powerful tools for building AI-powered applications.

NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super Now Available on Amazon Bedrock

NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super is now accessible through Amazon Bedrock, expanding the range of foundation models available via the unified Bedrock API. According to AWS, Nemotron 3 Super is a high-performance language model optimized for tasks such as text generation, complex reasoning, summarization, and code generation. This integration allows users to invoke Nemotron 3 Super alongside other foundation models within existing Bedrock workflows without managing underlying infrastructure.

Nova Forge SDK Simplifies Model Customization

The introduction of the Nova Forge SDK provides a streamlined approach to fine-tuning and customizing Amazon Nova models for enterprise use cases. AWS states that the SDK handles the complexities of model customization, enabling developers to focus on business logic rather than infrastructure management. This allows for the adaptation of Nova models to domain-specific data and direct deployment within Amazon Bedrock.

Amazon Corretto 26: Latest LTS Release

Amazon Corretto 26, the newest long-term support (LTS) release of Amazon’s no-cost, production-ready distribution of OpenJDK, is now generally available. AWS announced that Corretto 26 includes the latest Java language features, performance improvements, and security patches, all backed by long-term support. It is compatible with Amazon Linux, Windows, macOS, and Docker images.
