Four Policemen Martyred in Bajaur Attack

Four police officers were martyred and two others injured on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, when unidentified assailants opened fire on a police patrol in the Nawi Killi area of Khar Tehsil, Bajaur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan.

Details of the Attack

The attack targeted the Ababeel Squad, an exclusive patrolling force, near Nawai Kallay around the time of Iftar. According to Khar Police Station House Officer Gul Zada, the officers were conducting a routine patrol when they came under fire from unidentified attackers Dawn.
