Banco Provincia launched a digital financing tool named Préstamo Acá Tu Auto to fund new and used vehicle purchases directly through participating dealerships, according to the bank. The initiative aims to broaden credit access across Buenos Aires province by offering fully digital applications through home banking.
Financing Terms and Loan Limits
The financing covers up to 100% of a vehicle’s purchase price, with credit limits spanning from 100 mil to 50 millones de pesos, as stated by Banco Provincia. Borrowers can select between two financing frameworks. The first option relies on UVA inflation-adjusted units with interest rates starting at UVA plus 6% annually, featuring repayment terms between 12 and 48 months. The second option provides a traditional fixed rate starting at 55% annually with terms stretching from 12 to 72 months.
Monthly payment estimates vary by structure. For a $10 millones loan under the fixed-rate structure over 72 months, the estimated monthly installment reaches roughly $477 mil. Under the UVA plus 6% structure over 48 months, the initial monthly installment hovers near $235 mil, subject to adjustments based on UVA inflation metrics. Final installments depend on individual credit profiles and commercial terms.
Application Process and Digital Execution
Applicants must select a vehicle at an affiliated dealership to receive a personalized financing offer, according to bank guidelines. Once the customer accepts the proposal, the transaction finalizes digitally via Cuenta DNI or Home Banking BIP without paper documentation or mandatory in-person branch visits. Repayment occurs through automated monthly debits from the borrower’s bank account.
Availability and Expansion Plans
The product is active across more than 70 dealerships distributed throughout various cities in Buenos Aires province, according to Banco Provincia data. Additional participating dealerships will register on the bank’s official commercial search engine. The remote loan structure also applies to purchases of motorcycles, modular homes, construction materials, health and beauty services, hospitality accommodations, and passenger transport services as part of the public bank’s broader digital retail strategy.
