Louisiana Tech Baseball Falls to Arkansas State

In baseball action, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (8-6) suffered a 6-2 loss to Arkansas State (11-3) on Wednesday night at the Love Shack. Despite a stronger performance at the plate, Tech dropped their fifth consecutive game. Nathan Houston and Hayden Gustavson each hit their first home runs of the season for the Bulldogs.

Thomas Allen delivered a strong relief performance, pitching 5 1/3 innings with a career-high six strikeouts, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk.

The Louisiana Tech baseball team will travel to Mobile, Alabama, for a three-game series against the South Alabama Jaguars, beginning Friday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. CT at Stanky Field.
