Bayreuth Historical Museum Hosts Special Events on February 25, 2026

Art Exploration at the Historical Museum

At 2:30 p.m. On February 25th, the Historical Museum, in cooperation with the KirchplatzTreff, will present an event focused on a single object from its collection. Participants will delve into the object’s history and significance, fostering an engaging and educational experience. The event will last approximately 90 minutes.

The tour will address questions surrounding his life, his political career, and his commitment to democracy.

The Historical Museum of Bayreuth was awarded the Bavarian museum prize for its conception and design. The building itself, the old Latin school at Kirchplatz, was converted from a fire department building in 1996 after a century of inadequate locations for the museum’s collection.
