BCA AG Expands Comparit Comparison Calculator With Health Insurance and Basic Capability Coverage
BCA AG integrated health insurance and basic capability insurance (Grundfähigkeitsabsicherung) into its comparit comparison calculator, known as cpit. The expansion connects the tools directly into the broker platform DIVA, allowing brokers of the BCA Group to handle client management, quote generation, digital signatures, and direct application submissions within a single system environment.
Previously, the cpit system within the BCA ecosystem focused primarily on life insurance. While the comparit platform also offers calculators for household contents, residential buildings, and motor vehicle insurance, currently only life insurance and motor vehicle solutions are connected at BCA. The integration of new risk classes allows brokers to cover more customer needs within the same system environment.
High Automation Levels in Health Insurance Integration
The newly added health insurance module features automated calculation workflows. The system includes the automatic determination of the appropriate state employer assistance (Beihilfe), compares specialized medical tariffs, and includes an integrated daily sickness allowance needs calculator.
Additional functionalities allow for individual tariff and benefit design including deductible simulation, as well as the inclusion of tax implications, risk surcharges, and transfer values. Roman Schwarze, Vorstand of BCA AG, stated that expanding the cpit tool to include health and basic capability insurance is a deliberate step to strengthen broker support in biometric advisory.
Enhancing Biometric Portfolios Through Basic Capability Coverage
Alongside health insurance, the platform expansion introduces a dedicated comparison and analysis module for basic capability insurance, broadening BCA’s biometric advisory offering. Matthias Brauch, CEO of comparit GmbH, noted that the system additions represent a milestone in ongoing platform development aimed at improving analytical tools for partners and brokers.
The end-to-end digital process eliminates the need to switch between standalone software applications when advising clients. By integrating these lines on the DIVA platform, BCA AG enables brokers to utilize additional comparison options in a consistent digital process.
