Family Sports Festival to Debut at Sportforum Berlin in 2026
Berlin’s largest popular sports festival is moving to a new location and expanding its offerings in 2026. The annual event, organized by the Berlin Sports Federation, will be held for the first time at the Sportforum Berlin, offering numerous free activities for visitors of all ages. Alongside the festival, the Sportforum Berlin will too host the Berlin Youth Finals, featuring around ten youth championships.
What to Expect at the Festival
The Family Sports Festival aims to encourage participation in sports and physical activity. Sports clubs and associations will present themselves and allow visitors to try out various sports firsthand. The event will feature inspiring exercise programs specifically designed for children and young people.

Public Ice Skating at Sportforum Berlin
In addition to the sports festival, the Sportforum Berlin also hosts public ice skating sessions in its ice rink. Public ice skating began on October 6, 2025. Online tickets are required on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Monday evenings, and during school holidays, while tickets are also available on-site Monday through Thursday mornings and Tuesday through Thursday evenings.
