Bluestone Equity Partners Sponsors USA Archery Through 2028 Olympics

Bluestone Equity Partners, a private investment firm, has entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement with USA Archery, extending through the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The deal, announced on February 24, 2026, designates Bluestone as the official sleeve sponsor for USA Archery, with its branding featured on the sleeves of all official team jerseys.

First Sports Sponsorship for Bluestone

This marks Bluestone’s inaugural official sports sponsorship, signaling a growing interest in the sports and entertainment industry. The firm closed its inaugural $300 million growth equity fund, focused on this sector, in early 2023. Team USA competed in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, winning two archery medals.

Bobby Sharma’s Connection to USA Archery

The sponsorship is particularly noteworthy given the background of Bobby Sharma, founder and managing partner of Bluestone. Sharma previously served as a director of USA Archery from 2021 to 2024. His extensive experience in sports business includes nine years at the NBA, where he was vice president and general counsel of the NBA Development League from 2002 to 2011. He later held the position of global head of basketball and strategic initiatives at IMG from 2011 to 2015, and was chair of Blue Devil Holdings until earlier this year. USA Archery is fielding a full women’s team roster and qualified one man for Paris 2024.

Sharma’s Broader Sports and Entertainment Portfolio

Sharma’s involvement extends beyond basketball and archery. He is a founding member of NextGen Venture Partners and Electronic Sports Group, and previously served as chief executive of Soccerex, a soccer business events management firm, from 2019 to 2021.

USA Archery’s Recent Performance

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the U.S. Archery team secured two medals, both won by Brady Ellison. The 2024 Summer Olympics archery competitions took place from July 25 to August 4 at Les Invalides.
