BMI Celebrates Industry Leader Lynn Minges at CSRA Government Affairs Conference
Dallas, TX – November 25, 2025 – Teh Council of State Restaurant Association’s (CSRA) Government Affairs Conference dinner, held at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, featured a performance by acclaimed singer-songwriter Jamie lin Wilson and a special recognition for a long-standing industry champion. Wilson, a native Texan, entertained attendees – comprised of state restaurant association executives and National Restaurant Association leadership – with a set including his original songs “Simple Enough,” “Eyes for You,” “Alice,” and “A Town This Small.”
The evening also served as an occasion to honor Lynn Minges, President & CEO of the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association (NCRLA), as she prepares for retirement after a distinguished 13-year tenure. BMI presented Minges with a gold record, acknowledging her significant contributions to the restaurant and lodging industries.
Minges’ leadership at the NCRLA has been marked by advocacy for the industry, particularly navigating challenges such as labor shortages, evolving regulations, and the impacts of economic fluctuations. Under her guidance, the NCRLA has become a vital resource for its members, providing support in areas like workforce growth, government relations, and industry education. [^1]
