BMW iX4 Pricing and Range Specifications for the Czech Market
BMW is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the new iX4, an SUV coupe built on the Neue Klasse platform that enters the Czech market starting at 1,747,850 CZK for the entry-level 40 xDrive variant, as Novinky reported. The vehicle adopts the design characteristics of traditional coupe SUVs, featuring a sloping roofline, an extended wheelbase, short overhangs, and a front fascia that merges the illuminated kidney grille and headlights into a single graphical element.
Panoramic iDrive System Dominates Minimalist Cabin Layout
Inside, the iX4 features a minimalist cabin layout dominated by the Panoramic iDrive system. This new interface pairs a windshield-width projection display with a 3D head-up display, a 17.9-inch central touchscreen, and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel. Standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof, while the rear cargo area provides between 490 and 1,600 liters of storage space.
800-Volt Architecture Enables Rapid Charging Speeds
Underpinning the vehicle is BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology, which utilizes cylindrical battery cells housed within an 800-volt electrical architecture. This setup enables rapid charging speeds of up to 400 kW alongside bidirectional charging capabilities. At market launch, buyers can choose between two initial variants:
- BMW iX4 40 xDrive: Delivers 275 kW (374 hp), accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and achieves a driving range of up to 638 kilometers with a starting price of 1,747,850 CZK.
- BMW iX4 50 xDrive: Generates 345 kW (469 hp) using a battery with a usable capacity of 108.7 kWh, reaching 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and providing up to 828 kilometers of range starting at 1,906,450 CZK.
A high-performance M60 xDrive variant will join the lineup shortly after the initial market launch. Powered by a dual-motor setup generating 450 kW (612 hp) and 875 Nm of torque, this flagship model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is electronically capped at 240 km/h, while the estimated driving range reaches up to 777 kilometers. Exterior distinctions for the M60 include specialized M division sports styling and motorsport-inspired yellow headlights.

Chassis Dynamics and Driver Assistance Technology
The chassis features a low center of gravity, near-even weight distribution, and an M-adaptive suspension setup that comes standard on the M Performance trim and optional across the remaining models. Handling is managed by a variable electronic steering system, an electronically controlled M rear differential, and the central “Heart of Joy” vehicle dynamics controller utilized across Neue Klasse vehicles. Safety equipment includes the Highway Assistant, which permits hands-free driving on approved highways at speeds up to 130 km/h.
