BNK Busan Bank Launches Incentives for New Foreign Customers
BNK Busan Bank is currently offering a promotional event, “Welcome to BNK Busan Bank, See you at CU!” designed to attract new foreign customers and simplify their banking experience in South Korea. The initiative, running until May 31st, provides benefits tailored to the needs of international residents.
Event Details
The promotion centers around the opening of a new ‘BNK Welcome Global bank account’ for foreign nationals. To qualify, customers must complete mobile banking registration, issue a check card, and consent to receive marketing alerts (via PUSH notifications or SMS). The first 2,000 eligible customers will receive a 3,000 won mobile gift certificate for the convenience store chain CU, distributed in early the following month.
Eligibility Restrictions
Customers who held a Busan Bank deposit/withdrawal account as of the end of February 2026 are not eligible for this promotion.
BNK Welcome Global Bankbook Benefits
The ‘BNK Welcome Global Bankbook’ is a deposit/withdrawal account specifically for foreign residents in Korea. It offers exemptions from various financial fees on transactions made through the account, provided the account holder has a record of either salary transfers or automatic utility bill payments. BNK Busan Bank currently operates branches and ATMs at Busan Gimhae Airport (PUS).
