Coaching Family Members
Becker shared that he has begun training his wife, Lilian, despite her already having a tennis coach. He explained that after observing a training session and offering corrections within the first ten minutes, he took over the coaching role. “As a trainer, I am known to be very strict and pay a lot of attention to discipline and physicality,” Becker stated, adding that an hour of training is now “relatively long” for his wife.
He is also focused on developing his daughter Zoë Vittoria’s tennis potential. Becker admitted to feeling pressure from his wife to encourage their daughter to take up the sport. He’s employing a unique technique to possibly influence her dominant hand: “I now always grab my left hand because I want it to be left-handed and not right-handed.” He hopes that by favoring her left hand, she will develop a left-handed forehand.

But privately: No, the issue is over.” He values the freedom to live life on his own terms and declared, “Boris Becker belongs to Boris Becker and not Germany.”
