Keselowski Suffers Broken Leg in Skiing Accident

While the RFK Racing team and the NASCAR community are still mourning the tragic plane crash that claimed the life of Greg Biffle and six others, the team has confirmed that Brad Keselowski suffered a broken leg on Thursday.

Keselowski,driver of the No. 6 RFK racing Ford and a co-owner of the team, was skiing with his family when the accident occurred. He has undergone surgery on the injured leg and is expected to make a full recovery before the 2026 season.

“First and foremost, our hearts remain heavy with the news of yesterday’s tragic events,” the team said in a statement. “The RFK Racing family, as well as the NASCAR community as a whole, continues to keep those close to the Biffle family and all those affected in our thoughts.”

“Albeit untimely, we feel that in the interest of transparency we share RFK Racing co-owner and driver Brad Keselowski suffered a broken leg while on a ski trip with his family Thursday. Keselowski has successfully completed routing surgery,and doctors expect a fast and full recovery.”

Keselowski, who won the 2012 NASCAR Cup series championship with Penske, is 41 years old. The veteran driver finished 20th in the 2025 championship standings and nearly won the season finale at Phoenix, finishing second to Ryan Blaney.

He posted a message on social media with photos from the hospital room, and said in a statement provided by RFK racing: “I’m grateful for the medical team who took great care of me and for the support system around me. my attention now is fully on recovery.”
