Freya Schmitz’s Story
Freya Schmitz, a recent law graduate, was pursuing a promising career as an advocate while as well enjoying surfing as a hobby. Seeking balance in her life, she traveled to Indonesia. She tragically died in a surfing accident. Her brother, Lennart, will travel to Indonesia to honor her memory as part of the Break Free episode.
Season 7 Details
The seventh season of Break Free will consist of five episodes, each profiling a young person who died during a trip abroad. Following Freya’s story, the season will also feature the stories of Bram van ’t Hul and Robbin van de Streek, two friends from the Netherlands.
