Nicola Peltz‘s sister Brittany shared a cryptic message on Instagram following reports that the heiress and Brooklyn Beckham are considering adopting a child amid the Beckham family feud
Nicola Peltz’s sister, Brittany, has shared a mysterious post on Instagram over the weekend, just as reports emerged that the heiress and Brooklyn Beckham are considering adoption.
The 26-year-old son of Lady Victoria and Sir David Beckham, who is reportedly estranged from his parents, has allegedly had ‘several’ discussions with his 31-year-old wife about welcoming an adopted child into their lives amidst ongoing family tensions.
Within hours of the adoption news breaking about her younger sibling, Brittany uploaded an inspirational quote about following your aspirations. The message stated: “That dream was planted in your heart for a reason. Trust it.”
Brittany, a mum-of-two who runs her own children’s clothing brand, shares a strong bond with Nicola and attended her sister’s nuptials to Brooklyn back in 2022.
In last month’s explosive six-page statement, Brooklyn revealed his desire to raise kids with his wife. And now a pal has said the subject of adoption is something both align on, with the pair wanting to enjoy a large family.
“They both know they come from a place of unimagined privilege and therefore strongly want to give back, to offer a disadvantaged baby or child the best possible life. They have talked extensively about it,” a source has told The Sun.
They added: “Brooklyn mentioned kids, ‘future family’ and ‘future children’, in his statement – they were two very intentional clauses.” But as the Beckham family feud rumbles on with no signs of changing, it’s said any decision to have kids could leave David and Victoria out in the cold. And it’s a claim that the source said would “cut them deep” if they weren’t involved in the lives of any future grandchildren.
“The prospect of reading about an adopted baby on Instagram does not bear thinking about for them, but sadly, it is a very real prospect,” the insider added.
In Brooklyn’s outburst last month, Brooklyn signed off by saying: “All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.” And in an Interview in 2022, Nicola explained just how keen Brooklyn is to start a family. After laying the praise on his sister Harper, Nicola told The Times: “He wants kids yesterday,” adding that she wanted to wait “a couple of years”.
Nicola added at the time: “We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, and I have seven.” She also alluded to her desire to adopt at some stage. When asked if she wanted to have eight kids, she told the publication: “It’s a lot, but… I don’t know. We want to adopt some kids and have some of our own. That would be the dream.”
Brooklyn recently made another bold move to remove his parents from his life as he had a tattoo in tribute to his dad covered up. Earlier in the week, the wannabe chef was seen walking hand in hand with his wife.
And eagle-eyed followers noticed his ink on his right arm looked to have been altered. The tattoo initially showed an anchor and included the word “Dad” in the centre. Underneath, it read: “Love you Bust.”
However, the ‘dad’ words appeared to have been covered. A source told the Sun: “Brooklyn’s had laser treatment on the writing. He wanted it gone.”
They continued: “There is so much hurt and pain on his side, it would not be genuine to keep such a tribute on his body.” It’s thought it’s the latest family memory to disappear after Brooklyn allegedly had a tattoo dedicated to his mum covered. The ink was on his chest.
