Sonoma, CA – Broadway veterans Stephan Stubbins and Libby Servais are set to captivate audiences with their intimate concert, “Broadway in Love,” at the Sebastiani Theatre on Friday, February 20, 2026. The performance, already a success in venues across the country, marks a special return to the community where their journey began.

From Transcendence to the Great White Way and Back Again

Stubbins, a co-founder of Transcendence Theatre Company in Sonoma and Servais first connected during Transcendence’s 2013 summer concert series. Their romance blossomed during a long-distance period between New York and Sonoma, culminating in a wedding at Sonoma’s Garden Pavilion in 2019. Stubbins stepped down from his leadership role at Transcendence in early 2020 to relocate to New York City with Servais Stephan Stubbins Facebook.

A Celebration of Broadway’s Most Beloved Love Songs

“Broadway in Love” promises an evening of unforgettable melodies from hit shows like “Wicked,” “Jersey Boys,” and “Phantom of the Opera.” The performance will similarly feature beloved songs by artists such as Dolly Parton, Neil Diamond, and Billy Joel. The concert will feature Stubbins and Servais alongside pianist Katie Coleman, bassist Aaron Shaul, and drummer Juan Carreon Sebastiani Theatre.

Stubbins and Servais: A Broadway Legacy

Stephan Stubbins has enjoyed a distinguished Broadway career, appearing in “Mary Poppins” and the pre-Broadway premiere of “Memphis.” He has also opened for Frank Sinatra and Rita Moreno. Servais is known for her role as Glinda in “Wicked,” both on national tour and in NBC’s “A Very Wicked Halloween” special, and was part of the original Broadway cast of “Lysistrata Jones” Broadway in Love Facebook.

A Full-Circle Moment

Returning to Sonoma with their 3-year-old son, Stubbins expressed his deep connection to the community. “Sonoma is my favorite place on Earth,” he said in a news release. “I am forever grateful and humbled by the generosity and kindness of this community.” He recalled moving to Sonoma full-time in 2011 to help launch Transcendence and to contribute to the preservation of Jack London State Historic Park Sebastiani Theatre.
