BTS ‘Arirang’ World Tour to Stream Live in Cinemas Globally
Fans who missed out on securing tickets for BTS’s highly anticipated 2026 world tour can now experience the magic on the big screen. Trafalgar Releasing, HYBE, and BIGHIT MUSIC are partnering to bring BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ LIVE VIEWING to cinemas worldwide, with live broadcasts of concerts from Goyang, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, in April.
Immersive Concert Experience
BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ marks the group’s first full tour since 2021-22’s “Permission to Dance on Stage.” The tour features a spectacular 360-degree center-stage design, offering fans an immersive experience and what j-hope described as “something about that that makes it feel really immersive” during a recent Weverse LIVE broadcast (Variety). Members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have all expressed their excitement for the tour.
Broadcast Dates and Details
The live cinema broadcasts will take place on the following dates:
- Saturday, April 11: BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN GOYANG: LIVE VIEWING
- Saturday, April 18: BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN TOKYO: LIVE VIEWING
Screening times will vary by territory, with each concert being screened twice to accommodate different time zones (Music Week). Over 3,800 locations across 80+ territories will participate, providing ample opportunities for ARMY to experience the event (Digital Cinema Report).
‘Arirang’ Album and World Tour
The cinema broadcasts accompany BTS’s fifth full-length album, ARIRANG, set to be released on March 20. The album reflects the group’s journey since their debut in 2013 and defines them on their own terms (Variety). Following the cinema events, BTS WORLD TOUR: ARIRANG will continue with 82 shows across 34 cities worldwide, setting a new record for the most tour dates by a K-pop act (Music Week).
A performance in Seoul’s historic Gwanghwamun Square will be streamed live on Netflix the day before the album release.
