BYD Expands Latvian Market Presence with Four Latest Energy Vehicle Models

The world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, BYD, is introducing four new models to the Latvian market this spring: the fully electric ATTO 2 Comfort, the electric family SUV ATTO 3 EVO, the hybrid ATTO 2 DM-i, and the updated SEAL electric sedan.

ATTO 2 Comfort: Enhanced Range and Charging

The ATTO 2 Comfort is an updated version of the popular electric SUV, featuring a more powerful battery and extended driving range. It now offers a WLTP combined driving range of 430 km, an increase of approximately 120 km, and reduced charging times, taking just 19 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. The ATTO 2 is designed to balance city maneuverability with the space needed for family trips.

ATTO 3 EVO: Technical Upgrades and Increased Space

The ATTO 3 EVO, launched in Europe in 2023, has been upgraded with new technologies, increased mileage, and improved performance. A key improvement is the transition to an 800-volt system, which nearly triples DC charging power to up to 220 kW and extends the range to 510 km. The ATTO 3 EVO is also available in a new all-wheel drive (AWD) version. Interior space has been increased with a 101-liter front storage compartment and a larger luggage compartment.

BYD SEAL: Enhanced Safety and Convenience

The updated BYD SEAL electric sedan features improved safety features, including a driver monitoring system, and a new Bluetooth key for unlocking the car. It also boasts a new design for its 19-inch alloy wheels and three new body colors: Ruby Red, Obsidian Black, and Lavender Grey. Boot capacity has increased from 400 to 485 liters, with an additional 19 liters of storage under the bonnet.

ATTO 2 DM-i: Fuel-Efficient Hybrid Technology

The ATTO 2 DM-i is a new hybrid model to the European market, utilizing BYD’s Super Hybrid DM technology for class-leading fuel economy.

Warranty and Pricing

All four new BYD models reach with a six-year manufacturer’s warranty and an eight-year warranty on the electric drive system and Blade battery. Pricing in Latvia is as follows: ATTO 2 Comfort – EUR 36,990, ATTO 2 DM-i – EUR 28,990, and the SEAL – starting from EUR 47,830.
