Max Barker Adds Quarterback Depth to BYU Football Program

Provo, UT – BYU Football has added Snow College transfer Max Barker to its roster, officially announced alongside the start of Spring Camp on Friday, March 1, 2026.1 This addition addresses a need for increased depth in the quarterback room, which previously consisted of Bear Bachmeier, Treyson Bourguet, and Enoch Watson.

Barker’s Background and Playing Experience

Barker spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons at Snow College, appearing in six games for the Badgers.1 During his time at Snow College, he attempted five passes, completing three for 31 yards.1 Prior to Snow College, Barker prepped at Bountiful High School in Utah.2

Impact on the BYU Quarterback Depth Chart
