Cafe24 Accelerates E-commerce Infrastructure with Boost 2026 Conference and Price Adjustments

Cafe24 is solidifying its position as a comprehensive e-commerce infrastructure provider with the upcoming ‘Boost 2026’ conference and recent adjustments to its service pricing. The company aims to empower global sellers by offering integrated support for sales strategies and data analysis, responding to a shifting digital advertising landscape.

Boost 2026 Conference to Feature Industry Leaders

Scheduled for April 30th at the COEX auditorium in Seoul, ‘Boost 2026’ is expected to draw over 1,000 attendees – a significant increase from the 300 participants in the previous year. The conference will feature presentations from key partners including Meta, Naver, and Kakao, focusing on strategies for online seller growth. The event will provide practical, step-by-step guidance for building brands and expanding into global markets.

E-commerce Platforms Shift Towards Integrated Support

The move towards comprehensive support reflects a broader trend in the e-commerce sector. As advertising efficiency declines, sellers are increasingly adopting multi-channel strategies encompassing social media marketing and marketplace integration. Platform companies are evolving to become growth partners, offering services beyond basic online mall construction, including advertising, branding, and data insights.

Cafe24 Adjusts Pricing Amid Rising Costs

In response to increasing global hardware costs and strengthening security regulations, Cafe24 has implemented price increases for its Quick Server Hosting products, effective this month. The new monthly fees are as follows:

  • Quick Startup Pro: 90,000 KRW (previously 80,000 KRW)
  • Quick Plus Up Pro: 120,000 KRW (previously 110,000 KRW)
  • Quick Scale Up Pro: 160,000 KRW (previously 150,000 KRW)

Cafe24 has reduced the validity period of its SSL certificates to six months, aligning with policy changes from DigiCert and Sectigo, while maintaining the annual payment structure and increasing the number of automatic reissues to two per year. These adjustments are intended to mitigate the impact of rising infrastructure costs and maintain profitability.

An industry official noted that these changes, coupled with service upgrades based on partnerships with companies like Google and Meta, aim to enhance seller convenience and improve profitability [Source: The Chosun Ilbo].
