Details of the Incident

The Defiance County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at 11:55 a.m. On Saturday, reporting a shooting at a residence on Painter Road in Highland Township. Investigators determined that a female family member was shot by Okuley. The victim was transported to a hospital and was listed in serious but stable condition as of Saturday evening.
