WNBA veteran Myisha Hines-Allen hosted her second annual all-girls basketball skills camp at Montclair High School in her hometown of Montclair, New Jersey, on Saturday — an event made possible in part by gifts her Indiana Fever teammates Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell sent for the participants, Yahoo Sports reported.
The camp came days after Hines-Allen began a new role as an assistant coach with the Monmouth women’s basketball team, which kicked off its season Monday, marking a busy start to her first offseason after playing for the Fever.
How the Offseason Unfolded
Hines-Allen spent the offseason on two fronts. She joined the Monmouth women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach, with the team’s season tipping off Monday. Then on Saturday she returned to Montclair High School for the second annual edition of her basketball skills camp, an all-girls event in the town where she grew up.

The camp drew support from her Fever teammates. As Hines-Allen revealed in Instagram stories, Clark and Mitchell sent gifts to give away to participants, and she shared a photo showing items including their shoes and Fever merchandise while tagging the two players. Raven Johnson and the Indiana Fever organization also contributed gifts to support the event.
Where It Stands Now
Hines-Allen averaged 3.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.4 blocks across 38 games in her first season with Indiana, largely playing a backup forward role while serving as a veteran presence — Clark praised her leadership.
She will be a free agent this offseason, and it remains unknown whether the Fever will bring her back.
