Camden County Corrections Officer Dies After Medical Emergency
Isiah Hampton Watkins, a 36-year-aged corrections officer with the Camden County Department of Corrections, tragically passed away on March 10, 2026, after suffering a medical emergency while commuting to work. Funeral Arrangements
A celebration of life service for Officer Watkins will be held on Thursday, March 26, at Bethany Baptist Church (1115 E Gibbsboro Rd, Lindenwold, NJ 08021). Following the service, an interment will take place at Harleigh Cemetery (1640 Haddon Ave, Camden, NJ 08103) at 4 p.m. The procession from the church to the cemetery will pass the Camden County Correctional Facility.
