SOREC’s commitment to International Influence
SOREC, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse, plays a pivotal role in promoting Moroccan equine sports. According to Omar SKALLI,General Director of SOREC,the institution views its events as a “privileged possibility to bring together the world elite and,above all,to strengthen the international influence of Moroccan races.” SOREC proudly reaffirms this commitment with each edition of its events.
Hicham Debbagh Elected to IFAHR Vice-Presidency
This commitment is underscored by the recent election of Hicham Debbagh, Deputy Director of SOREC, to the position of Vice-President of the International Arabian Thoroughbred Racing Federation (IFAHR). The election took place on October 4th in Paris, and Debbagh will serve a four-year term. IFAHR is the global governing body for Arabian horse racing, responsible for promoting and regulating the sport worldwide.
