Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino & Resort in East Hazel Crest, Illinois, has completed its full resort experience with the official opening of its luxury hotel and spa on April 11, 2025. The property, which first launched its casino in November 2024, now offers guests a comprehensive destination featuring gaming, accommodations, dining, and wellness amenities.
Resort Features and Amenities
The resort includes a 70,000-square-foot casino with over 1,400 slot machines, 56 table games, a poker room, and a sportsbook (planned for future opening). The luxury hotel comprises 255 rooms and 43 suites, although the full-service Spa at Wind Creek is located on the 16th floor, offering panoramic views of the Chicago skyline.

Spa services include facials, massages, manicures/pedicures, body wraps, and access to a thermal suite with a whirlpool tub, sauna, swinging chairs, and a multisensory experiential shower. The facility features eight treatment rooms, a mud room, and additional wellness offerings.
Dining and Entertainment Options
Guests can choose from a diverse array of dining options, including Alto, the resort’s signature Italian steakhouse operated by Chef Fabio Viviani, a finalist from Bravo’s “Top Chef” Season 5. Located on the 17th floor, Alto provides panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and the nearby Thornton Quarry.
Additional amenities include over 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, private gaming and event microenvironments known as “Hidden Gems,” the Center Bar, on-site parking with EV charging stations, a fitness center, and a pool.
