NCAA Championships: All-America Honors for Women’s Swimming and Diving Athletes
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Several athletes earned All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication in collegiate athletics. The championships concluded with notable performances from divers Kalina Ceglinski of Northern Michigan University (NMU) and Natalie Freeman of Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU).
Kalina Ceglinski Earns All-America Honors
Northern Michigan University junior diver Kalina Ceglinski secured second-team All-America honors in multiple events at the NCAA Championships. According to NMU Athletics, Ceglinski qualified for the consolation finals in the 1-meter dive with a preliminary score of 396.25, finishing 15th. She then achieved a score of 412.85 in the ‘B’ final, placing third.
Ceglinski’s consistent performance led to second-team All-America recognition in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. She finished 9th in the 3-meter board and 11th in the 1-meter board.
Natalie Freeman Receives All-American Honorable Mention
Minnesota State University, Mankato junior diver Natalie Freeman was awarded All-American Honorable Mention in the 1-meter diving event. MSU Athletics reported that Freeman finished 10th in the 1-meter diving event at the NCAA Championships.
Wayne State Wraps Up NCAA Championships
The Wayne State University men’s swimming and diving team also concluded its participation in the 2026 NCAA Championships. Wayne State Athletics announced the team completed a five-day competition in Evansville, Indiana.
Drury Panthers Celebrate National Title
In a separate achievement at the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships, Drury junior Gwen Bergum won the national title in the 100 breaststroke. Drury Panthers Athletics confirmed this was the Panthers’ first individual national championship of the event.
