Celebrity Xcite Debuts in Miami for 2028-2029 Caribbean Season

Celebrity Cruises has officially opened bookings for Celebrity Xcite, the sixth ship in the cruise line’s Edge Series, as part of an expanded Caribbean deployment for the 2028-2029 season.

Scheduled to debut in 2028, the new vessel will operate seven-night Caribbean itineraries out of Miami. Planned port stops include St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, and the Dominican Republic. The new ship will join the cruise line’s largest-ever Caribbean deployment, with Edge Series ships sailing from four Florida ports during the 2028 and 2029 seasons.

The Caribbean is our guests’ favorite place to vacation, Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises, said. Whether it’s a long-awaited island getaway or a spontaneous weekend escape, we are creating new and fresh ways for guests to experience the region with Celebrity Cruises.

Celebrity Beyond offers weekend getaways from Fort Lauderdale

The 2028-2029 schedule introduces several changes across the fleet, including short-duration itineraries on Edge Series ships for the first time. Celebrity Beyond will run nine three-night weekend getaways from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas between November 2028 and March 2029.
