Cenrido Troupe’s “Chérie, I Took the Bread!” Raises €500 for Children’s Association
The Cenrido Troupe concluded its eight-performance run of the play “Chérie, I Took the Bread!” on Sunday, March 15, at the Georges-Casel space in Saint-Germain-en-Coglès, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. Director Catherine Michel announced that the troupe generously donated a portion of the proceeds to support children in need.
A donation of €500 was presented to the IME EEAP of Paron, a medical-educational institute and establishment for children and adolescents with multiple disabilities in Fougères. Michel explained the troupe’s commitment to giving back, stating, “After the reveal, in a deep spirit of generosity, the troupe donated part of the proceeds to an association that helps children.”
Supporting Children with Disabilities
The IME EEAP in Paron provides daily support for approximately 50 children and adolescents with autism and/or multiple disabilities. Services include daycare, residential care, and specialized educational programs within the Autism Nursery Education Unit (UEMA) and ordinary environment services (PMO). A multidisciplinary team focuses on the well-being, fulfillment, and development of the children through tailored educational and therapeutic support.
Arnaud Chemin, director of the IME EEAP, expressed gratitude for the donation. “We send a very big thank you to the Cenrido association for its generous donation of €500,” Chemin said. “Thanks to this wonderful gesture of solidarity, we will be able to acquire outdoor leisure equipment adapted to the needs of children. This new equipment will help to offer them even more moments of pleasure, discovery and well-being. Your support means a lot to them and to the entire team: thank you for your generosity and your commitment to us.”
