Benoit Saint-Denis sets Sights on BMF Title After Dominant Win at UFC 325
Following a brutal knockout victory over Dan Hooker at UFC 325 last Saturday, rising lightweight contender Benoit Saint-denis has declared his intention to challenge for the BMF (Baddest Motherf***er) title.
“I’m fully focused on anyone inside the top five but the undisputed belt adn the BMF belt are my first interests,” Saint-Denis stated at the post-fight press conference.”My first point of interest is to fight the winner of Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway or the winner of Justin Gaethje vs Ilia Topuria.”
the BMF title is currently on the line in a rematch between Charles Oliveira and Max holloway at UFC 326 on March 9th, 2024. Should Oliveira defeat Holloway, it would mark his first defence of the symbolic title and perhaps set up a clash with Saint-Denis as the Brazilian aims for a second reign as undisputed lightweight champion.
Oliveira previously won the BMF title against Justin Gaethje in March 2023. He lost the undisputed lightweight championship to Islam Makhachev in October 2022 and again in a rematch in October 2023.
