Chase DeMoor Eyes Tommy Fury Bout After Tate Rematch Clause Lapses
Chase DeMoor is pursuing a fight with Tommy Fury after the contractual rematch clause with Andrew Tate officially expired. DeMoor secured a significant victory over Tate in December, retaining his Misfits Boxing heavyweight title.
Rematch Clause Expires
Following his win over Andrew Tate on December 20, 2025, Chase DeMoor had a 60-day window for Tate to trigger a rematch clause. Although filming the debut season of the Global Gaming League in Los Angeles, DeMoor learned that Tate did not exercise this option, freeing him to explore other opportunities. MMA Fighting reported on this development.
Tommy Fury as the Preferred Opponent
DeMoor has publicly expressed his desire to face Tommy Fury, pitching the idea to Mams Taylor, the founder of Misfits Boxing. He as well suggested a “survivor tag” format, where he would compete against four opponents in one night, including those who have previously defeated him.
Previous Encounter with the Fury Family
DeMoor previously had a scheduled bout with Roman Fury, Tommy and Tyson Fury’s younger brother, which was canceled due to KSI’s withdrawal from a separate event. This history has fueled his interest in facing Tommy Fury.
Rising Stock and Recent Achievements
DeMoor has experienced a successful run in boxing, winning nine fights within a 12-month period, including three Misfits title defenses and a WBA Fedecentro belt. He emphasizes that he is no longer simply an “influencer boxer” due to his professional achievements.
Additional Ventures
Beyond boxing, DeMoor has been involved in other projects, including filming a movie set for release and participating in the reality TV show, Celebrity Ex On The Beach. He also competed on Howie Mandel’s team in the Global Gaming League, defeating GillieDaKing in the second episode.
Future Plans
DeMoor is currently considering a million-dollar fight offer from Bali and is in negotiations with Misfits Boxing for future bouts. He also has fights planned in Mexico and Colombia.
