But Chery itself also sells its models here under its own brand, and its offer is quite extensive. the largest model range, Tiggo 9, has been added too the previously introduced Chery tiggo 4, 7 and 8 models. it is indeed thus a flagship on the Czech and, by extension, the European market.

The Tiggo 9 measures a ample 4810mm in length with a wheelbase of 2820mm (some figures state a wheelbase of 2800mm). At the same time, the car is 1741 mm high and a respectable 1925 mm wide.It follows that the Tiggo 9 is really a decent piece of car, as befits a flagship.

The new Chery Tiggo 9 will be available in the czech Republic only in one Prestige trim for a price of 1,189,000 crowns. A single 1.5 T-GDI DHE unit is used for propulsion. It is a plug-in hybrid combining a highly efficient (the manufacturer claims a thermodynamic efficiency of up to 44.5 percent, which is currently the top) 1.5-liter turbocharged internal combustion engine combined with three electric motors. Two are in the front as the traction motor of the front axle drive, respectively the starter-generator. They meet the internal combustion engine in a three-speed hybrid automatic transmission DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission). A third electric spinning machine is located at the back, where it drives the rear wheels. This means that the Tiggo 9 has AWD.
Chery claims a system output of 315 kW and a maximum torque of 580 Nm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 180 km/h.Much more interesting is the range, which is up to 1,050 km, while the car can travel up to 143 km purely on electricity.
