China Complains to UN About Heated Dispute with Japan
New York – China has complained of an increasingly heated diplomatic dispute with Japan to the United Nations (UN). In a letter to the UN, Beijing accused Tokyo of threatening “armed intervention” regarding Taiwan.
The Chinese authorities also promised to defend themselves in the diplomatic dispute with Japan which has been going on for the last two weeks.
china’s Ambassador to the UN, Fu Cong, as reported by Reuters on Saturday (22/11/2025), sent a letter to the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Friday (21/11) local time.

In his letter, Fu accused the Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi of committing a “gross violation of international law” and diplomatic norms when he said that a Chinese attack on Taiwan could trigger a military response from tokyo.
“If Japan dares to attempt armed intervention in the cross-strait situation, it would be an act of aggression,” Fu said in his letter.
