The third-place match saw the Hanoi Department defeat its opponent in a penalty shootout (7-6) following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
Individual honors in football were distributed among three top scorers: Le Hoang Giang (An Giang), Pham Tien Binh (Ca Mau), and Chu Quang Phuc (Editorial Department).
