Clean Up Earth: Cozy Cleaning Game Launches April 2, With Real-World Environmental Impact

Paris, France – March 12, 2026 – Independent French video game studio Magic Pockets has unveiled a novel trailer for Clean Up Earth during the Future Games Show, showcasing its large-scale cooperative experience. The game, launching April 2, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, aims to unite players in restoring polluted environments while simultaneously contributing to real-world environmental initiatives.

Cooperative Gameplay and Expansive Maps

Clean Up Earth offers a flexible gameplay experience, supporting solo play, cooperative sessions with up to eight players, and large-scale multiplayer maps accommodating 25 or more participants. The game will launch with 23 maps, including three designed for large multiplayer cleanups.

Players utilize the “Terra Cleaner,” a modular tool for vacuuming, processing, and recycling debris. Cooperation is key on multiplayer maps, particularly when tackling large obstacles or reconstruction phases. As players clear waste, they can uncover hidden artifacts and explore environments both day and night, adding layers of discovery and replayability. Notably, Clean Up Earth will not include an in-game chat system to ensure a safe and accessible environment for players of all ages.

Real-World Impact Through Micro-Donations

A unique aspect of Clean Up Earth is its integration with environmental organizations. Actions performed in-game trigger automatic micro-donations funded by Magic Pockets and its partners, with no cost to players. This system was successfully tested during previous initiatives with Jingle Jam in support of the World Wide Fund for Nature and Steam Next Fest with a donation to Wings of the Ocean [1].

“We designed Clean Up Earth so that players’ engagement goes beyond the screen. Every clean-up action contributes to a concrete micro-donation initiative funded by the studio, at no additional cost to the community,” said Eric Zmiro, founder of Magic Pockets.

Game Features

  • Relaxing and Rewarding: Explore diverse environments inspired by real-world locations, from beaches to mountains and deserts.
  • The Terra Cleaner: A versatile tool that evolves with upgrades, allowing players to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
  • Flexible Gameplay: Play solo, cooperatively with friends, or in large-scale community cleanups.
  • World Lore and Discoveries: Uncover ancient artifacts and secrets hidden within each map, including references to locations like Area 51 and the Bermuda Triangle.
  • Environmental Contribution: Support real-world environmental organizations through automatic micro-donations triggered by in-game actions.

Availability and Platforms

Clean Up Earth will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on April 2, 2026. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned for a later date [4].
