Two Die in County Antrim car Collision

Crumlin, Co Antrim – A man in his 30s and a pregnant woman have died following a two-vehicle collision near Nutts Corner, Crumlin, on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 PM on the Moira Road when a blue Ford fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb were involved in a collision.

Police Service of Northern ireland (PSNI) confirmed the man, a passenger in one of the vehicles, succumbed to critical injuries sustained in the crash.Tragically, a woman who was also travelling in the same car and was pregnant, also died in hospital consequently of her injuries.

Several other individuals involved in the collision sustained minor injuries.

The PSNI’s Collision Inquiry Unit is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and is appealing for details. Detective Inspector Stewart stated, “We are investigating what happened and require the public’s assistance with our enquiries.”
