Transfer to FCI Allenwood Low Following Medical Incident
The 56-year-old music mogul was moved out of the New Jersey lockup just days after being hospitalized for a head injury Page Six reported he sustained by hitting his head on a bunk bed on October 10. The Federal Bureau of Prisons stated to Page Six that Combs arrived at FCI Allenwood Low on Friday morning. The transfer places Combs in a facility with the same security level as Fort Dix, though Allenwood houses roughly 1,000 inmates compared to Fort Dix’s population of 4,000.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after a Manhattan federal jury convicted him in July 2025 of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, according to Deadline. He was acquitted of more severe charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Contraband Violations and Sanctions at Fort Dix
Prior to his relocation, Combs faced severe internal discipline following a September report by NBC News detailing luxury conditions and contraband inside Fort Dix. TMZ reported that prison staff wrote Combs up multiple times for phone violations and fights, leading to two separate stints in the Special Housing Unit. Officials stripped him of 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, pushing his tentative release date from January 2028 to March 2, 2028, as documented by Deadline.

According to Rolling Stone, the earlier investigative reports revealed that Combs utilized payments to fellow inmates for gourmet meals and cleaning services, alongside possessing unauthorized items including an unlocked tablet, an antidepressant, Hennessy liquor, and a contraband smartphone used to browse Instagram.
Disputed Altercation Reports and Official Denials
Following news of his hospital trip, unverified reports surfaced claiming Combs suffered his injuries during a physical altercation with inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a leader of the Shower Posse Yahoo reported. However, representatives for both the inmate’s family and the Bureau of Prisons strongly disputed those claims.

Loren LoRosa of The Breakfast Club reported speaking with a family member who stated that no fight occurred and that Combs and Coke resided on opposite sides of the Fort Dix facility. The Federal Bureau of Prisons similarly told TMZ that the rumored altercation story was false and did not happen.
Combs’ attorney, Juda Engelmayer, told Rolling Stone that the family had not received official transfer confirmation prior to the move and remained focused on his well-being and communication access. The Bureau of Prisons declined to provide specifics regarding the transfer rationale or medical status, citing privacy, safety, and security policies.
