K-pop boy group Cortis has extended its chart presence internationally, maintaining a 16-week run on the global Spotify charts with their title track “REDRED,” according to data released by BigHit Music on Aug. 15. The milestone highlights the group’s continued traction following the release of their mini-album 2, “GREENGREEN.”
Global Chart Placement and Domestic Records
According to BigHit Music, “REDRED” ranked 181st on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for the tracking period of Aug. 7–13, marking 16 consecutive weeks on the listing. The track climbed eight spots from the previous week’s position. Domestically, the single has held the No. 1 position on the “Weekly Top Songs Korea” chart for 16 weeks, establishing the longest run at No. 1 among K-pop group songs that have appeared on that chart, as reported by Biz.Chosun.
Earlier streaming data published by GLive24 noted that the track also spent 70 consecutive days at No. 1 on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Songs chart after climbing to the summit on April 27. The song additionally led Spotify Korea’s Weekly Top Songs chart for 11 consecutive weeks during the July 3–9 tracking window.
Streaming Growth and Group Lineup
Cortis reached 12.93 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of Aug. 11, marking a personal best for the act, according to Biz.Chosun. This figure positions the group among the top three highest figures for K-pop boy groups on the platform, following earlier figures of 12.67 million reported by GLive24.
The five-member group consists of Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Konho, who are actively involved in writing and composing their own music. Alongside “REDRED,” another track from the same album, “YoungCreatorCrew,” has gained considerable attention across social media, as reported by GLive24.
Touring and Festival Schedule
The group’s chart performance coincides with their ongoing live performances. Cortis performed at the Lollapalooza Chicago music festival on Aug. 1, serving as the only K-pop boy band to present a solo stage at this year’s edition of the festival, and subsequently launched a six-city North American tour starting in Toronto, Canada, as outlined by Biz.Chosun and GLive24.
