Credit Card interest Rates in Peru Surpass 74% Annually
As of December 24,2025,the Superintendence of Banking,Insurance adn AFP (SBS) reports that banks charge an average annual interest rate of 74.47% on credit cards.
In the 2024 Christmas season, the average rate was 71.56%, and in 2023, it was 65.34%.
