Four Teenagers Arrested Following Halden Robbery
Halden, Norway – January 24, 2026 – police have apprehended four individuals following a reported robbery in Halden city centre on saturday evening. Authorities were alerted to the incident at 8:58 PM, with initial reports indicating the victim was threatened with a weapon and subjected to violence.
According to Operations Leader Henrik Larsen, the suspects fled the scene and boarded a train. Police intercepted the train upon it’s arrival in Sarpsborg, successfully taking all four individuals into custody without incident.
“We encountered all four suspects and secured both them and the weapon in question,” Larsen stated.
While police have confirmed the suspects are all young men in their teens, details regarding the specific items stolen or the type of weapon used remain undisclosed at this time. All four individuals have been transported to the detention center at Grålum, where they will be held pending further investigation.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the matter and will release additional information as it becomes available.
