Cal State East Bay Amplifies Transfer Student Voices with Spotlight Program

California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) is actively highlighting the experiences of its transfer students through a dedicated spotlight program, aiming to foster a stronger sense of community and support for this vital student population. The initiative provides a platform for transfer students to share their journeys, challenges, and successes, connecting them with peers and resources within the university.

Supporting Transfer Student Success

CSUEB recognizes the unique needs of transfer students, who often require different support systems than first-year students. The Transfer Student Programs office offers a range of resources, including academic advising, career education, financial aid information, and access to the Tau Sigma National Honor Society [CSUEB Transfer Programs]. The program’s mission is to assist transfer students transition to the University with a greater sense of connection, engagement, and involvement with the East Bay community.

Transfer Student Ambassadors

Latest transfer students can connect with current students through the Transfer Student Ambassador program. Ambassadors provide insights into campus life and answer questions, offering a peer-to-peer support network.
