A week before the wedding, I went for the final fitting, only to discover they had hemmed it too short.You could see my shoes, and it completely ruined the dress. I was a crying bride in the middle of the shop, while they tried to guide me into the changing room.

The dress was meant to have a long, luxurious train, but it was now too short. It went from a dream dress to a nightmare.

We needed a fast solution. We ultimately decided to remove all the individual flowers and cover the dress with lace, which added length. The dress changed dramatically, but I still loved it.

I had five bridesmaids: my two sisters and three close friends. Their dresses were a deep pink, almost burgundy. My mother-in-law handled the flowers,creating all the bouquets and wedding arrangements.
