Serenity Forge and Cinnadev Announce Cozy Farming Sim ‘Delphinium’

Boulder, Colo. (Mar. 10, 2026) – Publisher Serenity Forge, known for titles like Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!, To the Moon, and Fractured Blooms, and developer Cinnadev today revealed Delphinium, a narrative-driven farming simulation game. The game is slated for release on PC and Xbox consoles in 2027, with full Xbox Play Anywhere support.

The game was first shown behind closed doors this week at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Festival of Gaming 2026 in San Francisco, offering attendees a first gaze at the gameplay.

A Bittersweet Story of Rebuilding

Delphinium centers on Haiyan, a character who returns to her village after a period away, following the death of her brother. The game’s narrative explores themes of grief, community, and finding purpose as Haiyan works to restore both her life and the village itself, which is populated by outcasts.

Players will navigate branching storylines and multiple endings based on their choices. Gameplay will involve building relationships with villagers through conversation and gift-giving, completing daily quests, gardening, fishing, and cooking.

First Look at GDC

Select press and industry members at the GDC Festival of Gaming were given a hands-on demo of the first chapter of Delphinium, allowing them to explore the game’s world and gameplay loop. The ID@Xbox Press Event on March 10th featured the exclusive preview.
