During his address on September 22, 2026, Trump told international delegates that U.S. documents would adopt a new designation for AI. “From this point forward, all of United States documents, and hopefully the world’s, will be changed to use the much more accurate term ‘super’ as opposed to ‘artificial,'” Trump stated from the podium. “Welcome to the new world of super intelligence.”
Trump subsequently introduced a hyphenated acronym for the term, telling the assembly, “In other words, welcome to the new world of super intelligence-dash-SI.”
