Detroit Man Walks Lost Girl to School in Frigid Temperatures

A Detroit man’s Facebook Live took a dramatic turn on a freezing morning when he spotted a 6-year-old girl walking alone in the cold, according to CBS News. After contacting the police, he decided to personally ensure her safety.

Joshua Threatt was broadcasting live in 10-degree weather on 14th Street when he noticed the young girl heading to school without proper winter wear – no shoes, gloves, or hat. He didn’t want to put her in his truck, so he walked her the ten blocks to school. Threatt became visibly emotional, stating he couldn’t bear the thought of her becoming a tragic news story.

“Whoever daughter this is, you let your daughter walk out here with no hat, no shoes. thank God I found her,” Threatt said in the video.
